You heard that right! Twenty new Star Wars books will be released this fall to bridge the 32 year gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens in a series called Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Each book will be spread across multiple platforms, publishers, and reading levels, filling fans in on the adventures that took place with the original trilogy heroes throughout all that time.The books will mainly cover a period of time previously explored in the Expanded Universe novels and graphic novels like Heir to the Empire, Dark Empire, and The New Jedi Order series. Those stories were removed from continuity by Disney in order to rebuild a more cohesive expanded saga.
