Shipping container homes come to life

Tiny houses are not a thing of the past, and probably won't be for some time.  But several people throughout the United States thought outside the container, if you will, and decided to up the ante a bit and come up with a similar concept, shipping container homes.

These shipping container homes are designed by only a handful of companies throughout the United States, completely manufactured in a factory-controlled environment, so there is no need to worry about quality or reliability.  All you have to do is supply the land, a chunk of change, and the design process begins.

Shipping container home sizes and budgets vary depending on your desires, but can be accomplished with a decent sized home.  The below homes range anywhere from about 1,000 square feet to 2,400 square feet.
