This cloud lamp creates a thunderstorm in your bedroom, and it's the coolest thing ever!
It's hard getting out of bed in the morning. Now, with the soothing lights and sounds from this cloud lamp, it's going to be even more difficult. If you're having sleepless nights, say goodbye to them.
Richard Clarkson Studio created a thunderstorm cloud, cloud-smart, containing full motion sensors and a high quality speaker system. You can control the cloud's sounds and its sensitivity to movements around it. It uses a Philips LED light to simulate a real thunderstorm!
Clarkson stated "The cloud is an interactive lamp and speaker system, designed to mimic a thundercloud in both appearance and entertainment. Using motion sensors, the cloud detects a user's presence and creates a unique lightning and thunder show dictated by their movement."

And here's the bad boy that makes it all happen wirelessly:
But the cloud lamp does more than just a light show. It features a powerful speaker system from which the user can stream music via any Bluetooth compatible device. Using color-changing lights, the cloud is able to adapt to the desired lighting color and brightness. You can also switch modes to something such as a nightlight or music reactive mode.
The cloud lamp runs for $3,360. If that's outside your budget, you can buy individual non-interactive clouds for $960. The cloud-smart can be purchased here.
Pretty awesome idea!
