J.J. Abrams Asks Disney to Move Up 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Release Date

So, rumors are spreading all over the internet that J.J. Abrams has asked Disney to move up the release date of Star Wars: The Force Awakens due his frustration with the number of story and photo leaks.
According to sources, Disney is taking Abrams' request seriously and considering a summer release, which would put the film up against Avengers 2: Age of Ultron and Jurassic World.

Although this is being spewed around the internet right now, nothing about a release date change has actually been confirmed yet, but I'll keep digging around for more updates.

While an earlier release would be awesome, I worry that the film's production is being rushed. I've already heard tons of reports about George Lucas upset because they didn't use any of his ideas for the film (which could go either way, really). Still going to keep an open mind.
