iOS 7 Release Date Today, Sept. 18

The long-awaited iOS 7 update will arrive today as a free update available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch!  A specific release time has not been specified by Apple, however history shows that the release time will occur sometime around 10:00am PST.
The update can either be installed wirelessly or by using the desktop iTunes program.  If you prefer the second option, be sure to update your iTunes to the latest version first.  Ideally, you'll want to have a fast internet connection for the upgrade.  Depending on your internet connection speed and Apple's servers, the download process is expected to take about 30 minutes, with an additional 10-15 minutes to install onto your device.  Make sure to back up all your data and have your device's charger handy.  The device may refuse to update if the battery is running low.

To install, go to Settings and click "General", then "Software Updates".
