'Duel of the Fates' sing-along version created by Star Wars fan

Due of the Fates The Phantom Menace

The Star Wars prequel trilogy may not be a favorite to many fans, but there's no doubt that the music is still incredible. One fan of the franchise created a sing-along version of Duel of the Fates from the prequel trilogy that you won't be able to unhear.

John Williams, notably famous for scoring almost all of the Star Wars films to date, has touched the hearts of many and set the tone of Star Wars as we know it today. One of the most notable pieces being Duel of the Fates, introduced in The Phantom Menace and used throughout the entirety of the prequel trilogy.

One fan made a hilarious sing-along version of the song, and you can watch and listen to it below. Although these obviously aren't the real lyrics, it definitely sets up some pretty amazing entertainment.

Now, on a serious note, here are the actual lyrics to Duel of the Fates:

Korah Matah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah Rahtamah Yoodhah Korah
Korah Syahdho Rahtahmah Daanyah
Korah Keelah Daanyah
Nyohah Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Syadho Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah Daanyah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah Daanyah Korah Rahtahmah
Nyohah Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Syadho Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah
Korah Matah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah Daanyah Korah Rahtahmah
Nyohah Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Syadho Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah

Quite a mouthful, but the meaning behind these lyrics is actually quite fascinating! These words originated in the medieval Welsh poem Cad Goddeu (The Battle of the Trees). The text was translated into English by Robert Graves and published as part of The White Goddess: A Historical Grammar of Poetic Myth.

John Williams selected lines 32-35 of the poem and had it translated into a variety of languages. The Sanskrit version that he chose, due to the fact that it helped provide a "ritualistic or quasi-religious" character that was missing from other languages, simply translates to:

Under the tongue root
a fight most dread,
and another raging
behind in the head
