Since its release only a few weeks ago, Black Panther has already raked in an impressive $704 million worldwide and rising, surpassing Justice League and Wonder Woman.With only a $200 million budget, Black Panther has already almost quadrupled its investment, leaving fans of the MCU pleased with an incredible story. The film did an excellent job with the story and character development, allowing new fans to the franchise a chance to get easily acquainted without confusion. Plus, if you've seen Captain America: Civil War, you're already familiar with a bit of the backstory in the MCU.
From a domestic standpoint, the movie has also overtaken several other powerhouse Marvel movies including films like Iron Man 3, Captain America: Civil War, and the original Spider-Man film.
Viewers of the film took to Google, giving it a 92% approval rating, along with 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, and an 88% Metacritic score. Impressive for a film just recently released and great news for fans of the MCU looking for a great movie overall.
