The event is planned for June 9th to the 11th at the Hollywood Palladium. Tickets will be free, but if you are not able to make it, the event will be streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and other platforms. It promises an inside look at Anthem as well as the chance to play the next Battlefield experience among other things.

Taking place just before the official start of E3, EA Play promises us a look into the original IP Anthem. The wording makes me think that there will not be a demo, however, so expecting a trailer would be more realistic. The reason Anthem was delayed until Q1 2019 is apparently the upcoming release of a new Battlefield game, which will likely have a demo at game stations for attendees to try out.

Besides the two previously mentioned titles, they also mentioned that new EA Sports games would be shown off at the event. It sounds to me like that they are trying to go all out to keep the hype train rolling for Anthem, a highly anticipated game that might make or break the future of Bioware.

It was announced by the General Manager of Bioware, Casey Hudson, in a tweet that a new Dragon Age was in the works, as you can see below:

Despite it being announced, if Anthem fails it could mean cancellation or hiatus for the yet to be shown Dragon Age title.

If you happen to be going to E3 or are near Hollywood, the tickets for EA Play will be free. If like me you cannot afford to nor have plans of traveling to the event, you can watch it from the comfort of your own home or on the go on a mobile device with live streams on YouTube and Twitch.

What are you most excited for that will be shown at the event? Do you anticipate Anthem selling well and Bioware continuing to make games? We would love to know how you feel about any of these subjects or anything else to do with the EA Play event.
