Now you can play three classic games at once

Pong, one of [if not] the oldest electronic games ever made, is still making its rounds to gamers and game developers around the world.  Throughout the years, there have been many variations of pong, tile-based 2D shooters, and more, but one has recently surfaced that combines three great classics into one incredible 2D adventure.Meet Pacapong, a mash-up of Pong, Pac-Man, and Space Invaders for a devilishly difficult 2D two player game, available in 1080p at 60 fps.  Players have to bat the ball through a Pac-Man maze, hoping it doesn't get eaten by a ghost, while shooting Space Invader aliens and dodging barrels from Donkey Kong at the same time.  What?!?  Hope you've practiced your multitasking skills!

Robots Teach Each Other How to Play Pac-Man

Researchers at Washington State University have created computer programs that teach each other how to play Pac-Man.  The two programs have different roles:  One program is a teacher and the other is a student.  The teacher helped the student improve its technique as the student progressed throughout the game. The researchers have setup this program with a goal to eventually create machines that can train replacements.  One master machine may train a fleet of blank machines to accomplish specific tasks, and so forth.  Eventually, trained and skilled machines could train people in a more human-like approach.
